The one who hears every cry, above golden silk.
Golden Silk Wood (金丝楠木, jin si nan mu) rounds carry a pendant of white Hetian jade carved with Guanyin (观音, guan yin), the bodhisattva of compassion, known in Tibet as Chenrezig (སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་, spyan ras gzigs). Tradition holds that Guanyin hears every cry in the world. Wearing her keeps that listening close. Below, the golden threads swim across the grain as your wrist moves. Imperial timber, worn for a gentler reason.
Meaning: The bodhisattva of compassion above golden silk: the one who hears every cry, worn against your own pulse.
Scent: Faint, cool, medicinal note when warm. Fades with wear and revives overnight in a sealed pouch.
Feel: Silk-smooth and lighter than it looks, golden threads flashing as your wrist moves. The jade pendant is cool, dense, and smooth.
Care: Soft wood and jade. No soaking. Dry cloth. Store in a pouch, apart from harder pieces.
